About the Program

Planned gifts can play a transformative role in the long-term sustainability of nonprofit organizations, yet many nonprofits feel unprepared to guide or support donors who express interest in these types of gifts. This program will explore what nonprofits should discuss with donors who are considering a planned gift and why it is critical for organizations to be active participants in those conversations. Join us for a discussion highlighting key topics nonprofits should be prepared to address with donors, including common planned giving vehicles, donor motivations, documentation considerations, and the importance of coordinating with professional advisors.
