Whether you are starting a planned giving program or looking to breathe life into an existing one, communicating the fact that you are sincerely interested in your donors and want a relationship with them that stands the test of time is far more attractive than announcing a great new way to separate them from their money! Join us as we explore how legacy circles can be used not only to retain donors, but also to attract them to your planned giving program. Give your donors the opportunity to be a part of your organization's "family" now and forever by building and maintaining a legacy circle that allows you to deepen partnerships with your best donors.

With the number of Americans giving to charity on the decline, many nonprofits are relying on a smaller and more affluent circle of supporters to meet their fundraising goals. The 2023 Bank of America Study of Philanthropy, the ninth in a series of biennial reports on giving by wealthy households in the United States, illuminates many expressions of generosity by affluent Americans. The series offers practical insights into distinct donor demographics including rising generation, women, LGBTQ+ and ethnically diverse donors. These insights can help build confidence and increase the success of nonprofit leaders when seeking transformational gifts from high-capacity donors.

     Meet Our Presenter
