At the Planned Giving Forum of Greater Sacramento, we’re proud to welcome three distinguished professionals to our board: Chris Gee Schoon Tong (Treasurer), Jesús Mata (Program Chair), and Sydney Gonzales (Marketing Chair). Each brings a proven track record and deep commitment to advancing philanthropy in our region.

• Chris Gee Schoon Tong, Treasurer, brings leadership forged in both entrepreneurship and the nonprofit sector. He previously owned Beach Hut Deli and now oversees programs and development for Mothers Against Drunk Driving in Northern California, applying both business acumen and community insight to his role.

• Jesús Mata, Program Chair, combines advocacy and development leadership. In his current role with Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California, he drives outreach and funding, while his background includes initiatives in health access, equity, and social change.

• Sydney Gonzales, Marketing Chair, offers a lifelong commitment to philanthropic outreach. Her career spans impactful internships, campaign leadership in major health-related nonprofits, and currently, major gifts development at UC Davis Health.
